What are the main benefits of the Vienna PASS?
The Vienna PASS gives you free entry to over 60 of the best tourist attractions in Vienna – as well as Fast Track Entry into a selection of some of the most popular sights. The Vienna PASS also comes with an optional travelcard, allowing you to roam the city’s transport networks at leisure, and a free guidebook available in 5 languages (German, English, Italian, Spanish and French).
The Vienna PASS saves you both time and money and allows you the flexibility to sightsee at ease. With unlimited use of the HOP ON HOP OFF VIENNA SIGHTSEEING TOURS buses, as well as an optional travelcard it’s the perfect sightseeing package.

Is there any benefit in buying the Vienna PASS now?
If you purchase the Vienna PASS in advance, and select home delivery, you are buying yourself more time to get acquainted with the city and to plan your trip in advance. The pass is valid for 12 months after purchase, so you can choose to get the pass and guidebook sent out to you before you travel at a later date.

Which Vienna PASS offers the most savings?
The longer your pass duration, the more money you’ll save. So if you opt for the 6 day Vienna PASS that works out as the best value for money, at less than EUR 26 a day.

Where can I use the Vienna PASS? Which attractions are included?
There are over 60 attractions included in the Vienna PASS – including Schönbrunn Palace, the Giant Ferris Wheel,Schönbrunn Zoo, the Danube Tower, Albertina and the Imperial Palace. Check out the full list of attractions included.
What are the normal costs of the attractions?
The entry costs for each attraction varies, but you are looking at over EUR 10 for an adult ticket – and sometimes up to EUR 20 admission fee.To find out more, browse our list of attractions here.
Are the attractions accessible all year round?

How do I find out an attraction’s opening times and closing times?
The opening times and dates of all Vienna PASS attractions can be found on each individual attraction page on this website. Opening times are also detailed in the Vienna PASS Guidebook received with every order.
Can I visit the same attraction twice with my Vienna PASS?
You are only permitted single entry into the attractions included in the Vienna PASS. HOP ON HOP OFF VIENNA SIGHTSEEING TOURS buses are unlimited and if you opt to add on a travelcard, public transport is also unlimited for the duration of your pass, too.
Is the Vienna PASS suitable for visitors with special needs and their carers?
Some attractions may offer carer places or free entry to visitors with special needs, so the Vienna PASS might not be the most suitable for them as requirements vary from attraction to attraction. Please contact them directly for further information.

How much does a Vienna PASS cost?
The price of a Vienna PASS varies on the duration you select. The prices for 1, 2, 3 and 6 days can be found on our prices page.
Remember: the longer the duration, the better value the pass.
If I order online how do I receive a Vienna PASS?
When you order the Vienna PASS through the official website, you can choose to either have the order shipped to an address of your choosing or pick up your passes at the VIENNA SIGHTSEEING & Vienna PASS Service Centre in the city centre.
Alternatively, you can choose to order a mobile Vienna PASS for your smartphone, which you will receive instantly upon purchase.

Can I buy the Vienna PASS when I'm in Vienna?
Yes, you can purchase the Vienna PASS at the VIENNA SIGHTSEEING & Vienna PASS Service Center (Opernring 3-5, Top 17-24, 1010 Vienna). You can find all contact details here.
How do you define a child?
Children under 6 years (0 - 5) qualify for free entry if accompanied by an Adult Vienna PASS holder. Children between 6 - 18 (included) qualify for a Vienna PASS Junior card. Please note that the child's age is that at the time of use, not at the time of purchase.
How much would a standard daily Travelcard cost?
A single journey travelcard costs EUR 2.40; a 24hr travelcard costs EUR 8.00; a 48hr travelcard costs EUR 14.10; a 72hr travelcard costs EUR 17.10. Travelcards are valid in the ‘inner zone’ only.
Do you offer discounts for groups, students or senior citizens?
Because the Vienna PASS has been created to save visitors both time and money, there are no further discounts given for groups, students or senior citizens.

Can I buy the Vienna PASS for a group?
You can order a maximum of 15 Vienna Passes online. If you would like to purchase more than 15, please contact info(at)viennapass.com.
Please note that the Vienna PASS is not designed for large groups. Some attractions require reservations for groups of more than 10, and many places offer discounts for groups. We recommend contacting the attractions you want to visit in advance to find out about their requirements for larger groups.
Why haven't I received my email confirmation?
Your email confirmation should normally arrive in your inbox a few minutes after completing a transaction/purchase. If you haven't received an email confirmation then we recommend you check your spam filter or junk folder.
If you still cannot locate an email then please send a request through to our customer service team on info(at)viennapass.com confirming your email address and order reference number.
Am I eligible for a mobile Vienna PASS?
The new mobile Vienna PASS option for your smartphone is available for Vienna PASS orders without travelcard and accessible on mobile devices only.
How do I use an offer code or discount code?
If you have an offer code, you can enter it on the checkout page after you have chosen you product(s).
Note: Offer codes cannot be used in conjunction with any other discount.
How do I get a mobile Vienna PASS?
If you want to use your Vienna PASS on your smartphone, select the delivery method "mobile Vienna PASS" in the webshop and we will send your order by e-mail directly to your mobile phone. Your mobile Vienna PASS contains a barcode, which you can show at the sights to get free entry.
With your booking confirmation you will receive the link to your PASS, with which you can open your mobile Vienna PASS (or even more than one pass per order).
TRANSPORT
Do children travel free on Vienna's public transport?
Children under the age of 6 can travel on the public transport system for free, accompanied by an adult with a valid travelcard. They also travel for free up to their 15th birthday during Vienna school vacations, on Sundays, public holidays, November 2 and 15. Please check www.wienerlinien.at for up to date info.
Where can I travel with the Travelcard?
If you opt for the additional travelcard you can travel within Vienna’s inner zone, zone 100. It grants you unlimited trips for the duration of your pass – 24hr, 48hr or 72hr combinations – including travel across tubes, trams and buses.

Can I use the Vienna PASS from the airport?
The travelcard is only valid within the inner zone – this does not include the airport. You must purchase a separate ticket to travel to and from the airport. The AirportDriver is happy to offer transfer services to and from Vienna airport. For more information visit www.airportdriver.at
Is the travelcard limited to certain hours of the day?
Your travelcard ticket is unlimited for the duration of the ticket and can be used throughout the day and on all night buses and night tubes, marked N.
VALIDITY
How long is the Vienna PASS valid for?
The Vienna PASS is valid for 1, 2, 3 or 6 consecutive days after activation at one of the attractions included in the Vienna PASS. But it's valid for 12 months from the date of purchase until activation.
Is the card only valid for consecutive days?
The passes are valid for consecutive days only. So if you activate the pass at 5pm on your first day, this will count as day 1 of your pass duration.
What happens if I change the date of my trip to Vienna?
Your Vienna PASS is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. Although we will ask for an estimated start date, the pass will not actually be validated until first use at an attraction. Likewise, if you opt for a travelcard it will not become validated until you stamp it at a blue machine at one of the tube stations, buses or trams.
