YOUR VIENNA PASS ADVANTAGE

Free ride on the Liliputbahn

Normal Price: Adult: €6,00; Child: €3,50

The Liliputbahn, built in Vienna in 1828, is a fun experience for the whole family! A number of unique locomotives pull the open cars of this miniature train on their 20-minute ride through the Prater amusement park and the green Auwald woods to the Ernst Happel football stadium. The historic steam locomotives are a special experience.

Travel back in time and smell the mix of hot steel, grease and coal smoke. The train leaves at the “Prater Hauptbahnhof” stop close to the Giant Ferris Wheel and you can get on and off at any stop. The Liliputbahn runs daily from mid-March to October. The historic steam locomotives are in use on weekends, holidays and for special events from noon.

Highlights

  • Different locomotives, each of them unique
