The mobile PASS for your smartphone!

In order to be able to use the full extent of our mobile offer, we recommend to add the website to the start screen of your phone and to accept our cookies.

How can I buy a mobile PASS?

If you want to use your PASS on your smartphone, select the delivery method "mobile PASS" in the webshop and we will send your order by e-mail directly to your mobile phone. Your mobile PASS contains a barcode, which you can show at the sights to get free entry.

With your booking confirmation you will receive the link to your PASS, with which you can open your mobile PASS (or even more than one pass per order).

How you can open your mobile PASS:

1. Step:

After a successful purchase, you can finally open the purchased Pass immediately in your browser.

2. Step:

If your order contains multiple Passes, swipe left to display them.

3. Step:

Now enter the name of the Pass holder and the date of first use of the Pass in the fields provided below the barcode. The PASS is valid for consecutive calendar days and is activated with the first use at a point of interest.

4. Step:

The purchased Pass can be forwarded to the respective Pass holder.

IMPORTANT: Please activate at least once the link to the PASS on each mobile device, which will then be used to show the PASS. This ensures that the PASS can be displayed in the browser even without an internet connection.

5. Step:

Then it is sufficient to call up the PASS homepage to display your Pass. This is possible after one activation of the link even without an internet connection.

6. Step:

Upon request of your browser, there is the possibility to "add PASS to the home screen" of your smartphone, creating a quick access to your PASS on your screen.

Activation

Your mobile PASS will be activated with the first use at a point of interest and will then be valid for the chosen number of consecutive calendar days, depending on the selected Pass type. Simply show your mobile PASS with the barcode on your mobile phone, so that the PASS can be checked and scanned for admission. If you have several Passes on a smartphone, each PASS must be displayed individually and scanned by the ticket office. At turnstiles, the smartphone must be passed on to the other user for scanning.

Please note: Owners of a mobile Pass have the opportunity to purchase a 24, 48 or 72 hours ticket for public transport directly in Vienna.

Your PASS is personalized and non-transferable. PASS staff and partner attractions may ask for a photo ID, please always carry one with you. In case of misuse we have the right to block your PASS.
